Note: None of the following requires taking the piano from your home!

After years of use, the hammers always become hardened and unevenly worn. This creates a loud, brassy, and uneven sound. No matter how much the pianist or student works, they will find it difficult or impossible to create beautiful music.

In the process, sample hammers are taken from your piano and sent to a hammer factory where a master craftsman carefully measures and creates a set of custom-made hammers designed specifically for your piano.

A more affordable option for hammer replacement is to refurbish the old hammers. If the old pianos are not too worn, this is a viable alternative.

Watch this video on hammer voicing before and after the voicing process.
